A team of graduate students at UCLA made what the New York Times calls “the psychological breakthrough of the decade” last week when they engineered a song that brought “moderate to intense euphoria” to an astounding 87% of the people that listened to it in the consequent study. The song, titled Wan Tansupa (ワンタンスープ), which translates from Japanese to “sure bliss”, draws heavily on traditional Japanese music.
